Vipassana, which means to see things as they really are, is one of the oldest methods of meditation India. It was rediscovered by Gotama Buddha more than 2,500 years ago and was taught by him as a universal remedy for universal disease, that is, an art of living. This unsectarian technique aims total eradication of mental impurities and most pleasure resulting total release.
Vipassana is a way to turn himself through self-observation. It focuses on the deep interconnection between mind and body, which can be experienced directly by disciplined attention to the physical feelings that make up the life of the body, and continuous interconnection and living conditions of the mind. It is this self-exploratory trip based on the observation to the common mind and body Roden which dissolves mental impurity, resulting in a balanced mind full of love and compassion.
Scientific laws that operate the thoughts, feelings, judgments and feelings are clear. Through direct experience, of course, the nature of how one grows or regra, how one produces suffering or suffering released. Life is characterized by increased awareness, non-delusion, self-control and peace.
Live Art: Meditation Vipasna, the following is based on a speech by SS Goenka in Bern, Switzerland speech.
We are all looking for peace and harmony, because this is what we lack in our lives. From time to time we all experience agitation, irritation, disharmony. And when we suffer from these Elander, we keep them for ourselves; We distribute often also to others. Accidents penetrate the atmosphere around someone who is miserable, and those who come into contact with that person are also affected. Certainly this is not a clever way to live.
We must live in peace with ourselves and peace with others. After all, people are social things, have to live in society and deal with others. But how will we live in peace? How should we keep in harmony, and maintain peace and harmony around us, so that others can live in peace and harmony?
To be delivered from our misery, we must know the root cause of it, the cause of suffering. If we examine the problem, it is clear that whenever we start generating negativity or impurity in the mind, we feel unhappy. A negativity in the mind, mental contamination or impurity, can not coexist with peace and harmony.
How do we start generating negativity? Again it is clear through research. We feel unhappy when we find someone behaving in a way that we do not like, or when we find something we do not like. Unwanted things happen and we create tension within. Desired things do not happen, some obstacles stand in the way and again we create tension within; We start tying knots inside. And throughout life, unwanted things, voluntary things may or may not happen, and this process of reaction, tying gudiska knots-knots, makes the entire mental and physical structure is so tense, so full of negativity life is unfortunate.
Now, one way to solve this problem is to arrange that nothing happens unwanted in life, that everything remains happening exactly as we desire. Or we must develop the power, or anyone coming to our aid must have the power to see that unwanted things do not happen and that everything we want happens. But this is impossible. No one in the world whose desires are always fulfilled, in whose life everything happens according to his wishes, without anything unwanted happening. They continue to emerge things that are contrary to our wishes and desires. So the question arises: how can we stop reacting blindly when confronted with things we do not like? How can we stop creating tension and be peaceful and harmonious?
In India, as in other countries, we studied the wise saintly persons of the past, the problem, the problem of human suffering, and a solution was found: if something unwanted happens and you start to react by generating anger, fear or any negativity as soon as possible, you should divert your attention to something else. For example, stand up, take a glass of water, start drinking, your anger will not multiply; On the other hand, it will start to slow down. Or start counting: one, two, three, four. Or start repeating a word, or a phrase, or some mantra, perhaps the name of a god or a sacred person against whom you have devotion; the mind is diverted, and to some extent, be free of the negativity, free of anger.
This solution was helpful; it worked. Still it works. Responding well, the mind feels free from agitation. The solution only works on the subconscious level. In fact, by diverting attention, touch the negativity deep into the unconscious, and there will continue to generate and multiply the same pollution.
